The art of deep relaxation is one of the safest and most effective ways to manage stress, maintain health and sleep better.

Learn how to use Yoga to nourish and support our body’s natural intelligence to heal and nurture. Take time out to experience in this workshop how we are multilayered, multi-dimensional beings and how we can use the physical body to calm and soothe the mental and energetic body.

This 2 hour mini retreat will stretch and open out the body to release muscle tension and finish with restorative poses to allow you to leave feeling calmer, more balanced and less stressed. All levels welcome, no Yoga experience required.

TRIYOGA - Chelsea

TIME: 11:00am - 13:00pm

Fatigue is the most frequently reported side effect of treatment for cancer. Persistent fatigue can persist for years post-treatment. Treatment such as radiation, chemotherapy and medications can decrease muscle and bone strength which can make it difficult to perform daily tasks, exercise and maintain a healthy life style.

It sounds counter intuitive to build strength to reduce fatigue but if we can build back strength in muscles it will become easier to do some of the simple daily things that may have become challenging.

This workshop will show you how to build back strength in a safe and effective way. Help increase range of motion and flexibility and coordinate the breath with the movement so we can start to calm down the nervous system and bring the body out of fight or flight.

We will finish the workshop with restorative postures, relaxation and meditation to help with managing anxiety, pain and helping to improve overall quality of life.
